Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs -10.5
Kansas City faces one of the worst defenses in the league. Not only do the Broncos boast one of the NFL’s worst defenses, but Russell Wilson and head coach Sean Payton are at each other’s throats.
The discombobulated Broncos lose another in embarrassing fashion.

Baltimore Ravens -4 at Tennessee Titans
Baltimore is a solid club, but the Titans are very difficult to beat at home. Tennessee is also excellent against the rush and the Ravens’ passing attack has been okay but not great.
The Titans should find themselves with a chance to knock off Baltimore in the fourth quarter. The home dog gets the nod.
NFL Week 6 Pick: Tennessee Titans +4
Washington Commanders at Atlanta Falcons -2.5
Who knew that the Washington Commanders’ defense would be the issue this season? The offense, under second year quarterback Sam Howell, has actually played decent ball.
The defense is a disaster. Heading into this contest, D.C. ranks thirty-fist in points allowed per game at 32.0. Opponents rush for 133.6 yards each contest. Bijan Robinson leads the ATL to a win and cover.
NFL Week 6 Pick: Atlanta Falcons -2.5
Minnesota Vikings -2.5 at Chicago Bears
The wrong team is favored in this matchup. The Bears scored 40 against the Washington Commanders in last week to score their first victory of the season.
Also, Justin Jefferson, Minnesota’s best player, is out. So Chicago’s defense should have an easier time containing Kirk Cousins.
NFL Week 6 Pick: Chicago Bears +2.5
Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars -4.5
This is a tough game to handicap. It’s difficult to back the Jaguars to win a third straight because Jacksonville dominated Atlanta and upset the Buffalo Bills.
However, the Colts must play this with Garnder Minshew at quarterback and it happens in Jacksonville. In addition, the Jags beat Indy by 10 on the road in NFL Week 1. History repeats itself.

San Francisco 49ers -6.5 at Cleveland Browns
Cleveland’s Deshaun Watson is going to struggle big time against the San Francisco defense. When the 49ers have the ball, Myles Garrett won’t get a chance to get to Brock Purdy because SF’s plays are designed for Purdy to get the ball out within 3 seconds or less.
Also, Garrett is an edge rusher and Christian McCaffrey is great at rushing the ball up the middle. The Niners roll to another win and cover.

Seattle Seahawks at Cincinnati Bengals -3
When the Bengals get it going they keep it going. Last Sunday, Cincinnati blasted the Arizona Cardinals on the road.
Seattle is a quality team, but the Seahawks’ defense should struggle against Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. Bengals cover.

New Orleans Saints -1.5 at Houston Texans
This is NFL Week 7’s toughest game to handicap. On one side, there’s the New Orleans Saints who have a terrific defense and are a different team now that Alvin Kamara is back from his suspension.
On the other side, there’s C.J. Stroud who has been playing lights out. New Orleans, overall, is the better team. So the Saints’ should slow down Stroud and the Texans’ offense.

Carolina Panthers at Miami Dolphins -13.5
Carolina’s defense isn’t good enough to keep the Dolphins from scoring a TD on almost every possession.
Miami’s defense should have one of their best performances of the season because rookie Bryce Young plays behind a bad offensive line. Even if this was happening in Carolina, the Fins would be the pick to cover.

New England Patriots at Las Vegas Raiders -3
New England is a disaster of a football team, but it’s so hard to back the Raiders. Sure, Las Vegas beat the Green Bay Packers in their last.
However, New England has suffered 2 straight losses by 30 or more points. It’s easy to jump on Belichick and the Pats because, well, it’s Belichick and the Pats. But New England faced two really good teams the past couple of weeks. Also, the Saints’ loss was more of a snowball effect after the Dallas game. We’re backing the Patriots.

Detroit Lions -3 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Detroit Lions are rolling. The Lions have proven themselves to be one of the better teams in the NFC. So it makes sense that Detroit heads to Tampa the chalk.
Ah, but the Lions face one of the top red zone defenses in the NFL. Tampa allows 27% efficiency in the red zone, which means Detroit will kick a lot of field goals on Sunday.
When the Buccaneers have the football, Tampa quarterback Baker Mayfield will find success. Mayfield has a 7 TD to 2 INT ratio, has thrown for close to 1,000 yards, and is completing close to 70% of his passes.

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams -7
The Arizona Cardinals are a hard-trying squad, but on Sunday the Cards face a 2-headed monster in Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
In his first game back, Cooper caught everything Matthew Stafford threw his way. Puka caught 6 passes for 57 yards and a TD. The Rams’ defense will have an easier time containing Joshua Dobbs and the Cardinals than it did Jalen Hurts and the Eagles.

Philadelphia Eagles -7 at New York Jets
NYJ’s offense is somewhat one-dimensional. The Jets only pass the ball when they must and the Eagles rank second in the NFL against the rush.
So on paper, Philly scores the easy win and cover. However, this happens in NYJ, the Jets’ D is very good, and Zach Wilson completed 71.8% of his passes versus the Kansas City Chiefs in NFL Week 5 and 73.1% of his passes last Sunday. The Jets will have a shot to win this in the fourth quarter.

New York Giants at Buffalo Bills -14
14 points is a lot, no doubt. However, Buffalo knows they should have beaten the Jacksonville Jaguars in London last Sunday.
So the Bills are angry about being 3-2. Buffalo believes they should be 5-0. Luckily for Josh Allen and his mates, the Bills face the worst team in the NFL on Sunday. The Giants are a disaster. The NYG offense averages 12.4 points. The defense allows 30.6.
The Bills to cover is NFL Week 5’s best bet.

Dallas Cowboys -2.5 at Los Angeles Chargers
Why are the Dallas Cowboys favored? Justin Herbert is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL.
Not only that, but this happens at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and the Bolts’ defense is solid. San Francisco throttled the Cowboys 42-10. If Dallas was facing a team like the Giants, they might be a good pick for the bounce back win and cover. But the Chargers are one of the league’s top teams.
