NFL Picks Week 14: Eagles Throw Down Against Cowboys for First Place in the NFC East
In NFL Week 14, the league has a couple of games on Monday. No doubt, though, the top game this week shows the Eagles traveling to Arlington to take on the Dallas Cowboys. Before the Boys and Birds throw down, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs battle Josh Allen and the Bills. New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers -6
The over under total in this game is 30 points. 30. That’s it. So far, 30 is too high.
What does the total tell us? Yards and points should be at a premium. New England is a mess, but will the Steelers come close to scoring enough to cover? Maybe. The likelier scenario is that since Kenny Pickett is out, Mitch Trubisky leads the Steelers to 9 points in a 9-6 victory.

Los Angeles Rams at Baltimore Ravens -7.5
The Rams have played well enough to be in position for an NFC Wildcard. However, this Sunday, the Rams take on one of the favorites to win the AFC and the Super Bowl.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens are on a mission. Baltimore’s pass rush should get to the mobility limited Matthew Stafford. Expect a big 10 points or more Ravens victory.

Indianapolis Colts -1.5 at Cincinnati Bengals
It’s difficult to understand why the Colts are the chalk in this. By the time we place our bets, Cincinnati could be the favorite. The reason?
Jake Browning is a good quarterback. The Cincinnati signal-caller completed 73.1% of his passes against Pittsburgh in a close 16-10 Bengals loss.
Then in Cincinnati’s last, this past Monday night against the Jags, Browning completed a ridiculous 86.5% of his passes, 32-of-37, for 354 yards and threw a TD versus Jacksonville in Cincy’s 34-31 overtime win.
The Jaguars were 10-point favorites in the game. Browning is turning into Joe Burrow’s mini-me. The Bengals win straight up.
NFL Week 14 Pick: Cincinnati Bengals +1.5
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons -2.5
It’s tough to back the Buccaneers against anybody these days. We must question the enthusiasm regarding the Falcons, though, because Atlanta is just a 2.5 home favorite even though the Southern Birds have won 2 straight.
Perhaps, sports betting NFL fans don’t believe the Falcons can win a third straight. Atlanta hasn’t done so yet this season and the Buccaneers are playing well. Backing Tampa by taking the points makes sense.
NFL Week 14 Pick: Tampa Bay Buccaneers +2.5
Detroit Lions -3 at Chicago Bears
Bears versus Lions projects as one of this Sunday’s most competitive NFL games. The Lions come off a big win against the Saints in New Orleans.
But Detroit almost blew a 21-0 lead. If Bruce Irvin hadn’t knocked Derek Carr out of the game, the Saints were likely going to fulfill a comeback because New Orleans was driving for a go ahead touchdown. So thank a targeting play for Detroit’s victory. Chicago played the Lions ultra-tough in the first matchup between these two. Expect the Bears to close the deal on their field.

Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints -5.5
The latest injury reports list Derek Carr as questionable. If Carr doesn’t play and the Saints start Jameis Winston, the Panthers could be New Orleans straight up.
The guess, though, is that N’Awlins goes with Taysom Hill. Taysom played great in the almost victory over the Detroit Lions. If the Saints give Hill the pigskin, they roll to a win and cover.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Cleveland Browns -3
Trevor Lawrence won’t play. Nor will Deshaun Watson. So in a battle between back up quarterbacks, this one is a no-brainer.
Jags back up C.J. Beathard has never started in this league. Joe Flacco, in his first action in a long time, played great for the Browns in a loss. Flacco gets it done on Sunday. So back the Browns to win and cover.

Houston Texans -5.5 at New York Jets
The Jets may start Zach Wilson. Whether they do or don’t, it won’t matter in this game. Houston should be on a 6-game winning streak.
A missed 58-yard field goal against the Jags a couple of games back led to a loss. The Texans bounced back with a terrific 22-18 win over the Denver Broncos in NFL Week 13.

Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers -10.5
Seattle played great football in a competitive loss to the Dallas Cowboys in week 13. But the Seahawks struggled in a 31-13 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the first matchup between these two teams.
San Fran dominated the Philadelphia Eagles 42-19 in their last. The game happened on Philly’s turf, which is why the Niners are such massive favorites versus the Hawks in this.
As well as Seattle played against the Boys, San Francisco is on another level. The Niners won’t bounce in a game against an NFC West rival. 49ers roll to a win and cover.

Minnesota Vikings -3 at Las Vegas Raiders
Minnesota shouldn’t be favored in this. For sure, Brian Flores’s defense is going to give Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell trouble, but the Vikings have their own QB issues.
Joshua Dobbs, who the Vikings hoped would replace the injured Kirk Cousins, threw 4 picks against the Chicago Bears in a 12-10 loss. Dobbs is Minnesota’s best option. The Raiders will be fired up because this happens at Allegiant. Vegas scores the straight up win.
NFL Week 14 Pick: Las Vegas Raiders +3
Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers -2.5
In their last, the Denver Broncos were oh so close to extending their 5-game winning streak. The Broncos had a shot to overtake the Texans with the ball inside the 15-yard line on the game’s final drive.
But Russell Wilson and his teammates couldn’t close the door, which is why the Broncos ended up losing to Houston in a 22-17 game. On Sunday, Russ and the Colorado Ponies head to SoFi to take on a Chargers squad that is a paper tiger.
The Bolts ended their losing streak in a 6-0 victory over the New England Patriots. Los Angeles didn’t play great football, but the Pats are so awful they managed the victory. Sunday isn’t close to the setup the Chargers saw in New New England. Denver is one of this week’s best underdog moneyline plays.

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs -2.5
Buffalo is now 6-6. But before dumping on Josh Allen and his buddies, it’s important to note that Kansas City didn’t look great in a loss to the Green Bay Packers this past Sunday night.
KC’s defense made Jordan Love look like Aaron Rodgers. Allen and his buds know that if they lose this game, Buffalo falls to 6-7. So although KC should bounce back, the Bills are motivated and projects as a money line option to win straight up.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys -3.5
The line opened Dallas -3. So within a few days, NFL betting handicappers have bumped the Boys to -3.5.
The line could continue to ascend because the 49ers obliterated the Eagles on Philly’s home turf. However, before singing Dallas’ praises, it’s important to note that Geno Smith had the Seattle Seahawks in a position to beat Dallas in the Cowboys’ last game.
If Geno could torch the Boys for 334 yards and 3 TDs, what will Jalen Hurts do? In addition, it’s difficult seeing Hurts and the Philly Birds playing two straight clunker games. Expect the Eagles to step it up big time in this. A cover should happen for sure, and Philadelphia can win this straight up.

NFL Monday Night Football – December 11
Green Bay Packers -6.5 at New York Giants
Green Bay could bounce agianst the Giants. The Packers played their best game of the season when upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs at Lambeau in their last.
The win was legit. Green Bay left everything on the field in the victory. So getting up for a game against the Giants on the road will be tough. Also, Tommy DeVito is playing great. He’s not playing as well as Jordan Love, but he is playing well enough for the G-Men to consider cutting Daniel Jones this offseason. Give the Giants a big chance to pull off the upset win.
NFL Week 14 Pick: Green Bay Packers -6.5
Tennessee Titans at Miami Dolphins -13.5
Tennessee heads to Miami hoping to upset a Dolphins squad that is flying high. The Dolphins have become the favorite to secure the AFC Playoffs top-seed.
Miami doesn’t always play it’s best. But at home versus an overmatched squad like the Titans, the Fins should roll. One of the reasons the Dolphins are an almost 14-point favorite is because Derrick Henry lists as questionable. Whether Henry plays or not, it won’t matter.
The Dolphins offense will decimate a Titans D that has given up 31 point to the Colts and 34 points to the Jaguars in 2 of the Titans last 3 games.
