Week 10 NFL Picks
Thursday, November 9
Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears -3.5
Justin Fields should step onto Soldier Field on Thursday night. If JF plays, forget it. The Carolina Panthers got lucky to beat the Houston Texans a couple of weeks ago, but Fields is a much different quarterback. Before getting hurt, Fields had developed a real rapport with DJ Moore. That will continue on November 9. Even if Fields doesn’t play, the Chicago defense has stepped it up in recent games. So Chi-Town gets it done.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Chicago Bears -3.5

NFL Week 10 Games
Sunday, November 12
Indianapolis Colts -1.5 at New England Patriots
We’re through picking the Patriots. Our fault for thinking Bill Belichick would turn the switch and the old Pats’ magic would lead New England to a couple of wins.
NE is the type of squad that finds ways to lose. On Sunday, the Patriots face Gardner Minshew and a Colts’ offense that has been playing great football. The Colts’ D will find it much easier to contain Mac Jones and the Pats than it did Derek Carr and the Saints a couple of weeks ago.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Indianapolis Colts -1.5
Tennessee Titans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers -1.5
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost 4 straight. 3-of-4 were close, but the Bucs couldn’t close the deal, which means they’re lacking something. That something is on both sides of the ball.
Neither Baker Mayfield nor the defense has stepped it up. Will Levis is playing at a high level. He almost led the Titans to an upset victory over the Steelers in Tennessee’s last. Titans win and cover.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Tennessee Titans +1.5
New Orleans Saints -2.5 at Minnesota Vikings
This is a tough game to handicap. Joshua Dobbs, the Vikings’ starting quarterback now that Kirk Cousins is out, presents serious challenges.
Dobbs is great at rushing the football and has decent instincts. But the Saints are rolling. New Orleans is on a 2-game win streak, the offense is clicking, and the defense should manage a way to contain Dobbs and the Vikings’ O.
NFL Week 10 Pick: New Orleans Saints -2.5
San Francisco 49ers -3 at Jacksonville Jaguars
The 49ers remain one of the NFC’s top teams. Not only that, but San Francisco traded for Chase Young, who should be a great compliment on the other side of Nick Bosa.
Still, it’s tough to go against the Jaguars at home. Jacksonville’s D forces a lot of turnovers and Brock Purdy hasn’t been as sharp as he was earlier in the season. Jags should win this SU.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Jacksonville Jaguars -3
Must be 21+ to participate. T&Cs apply. NY/NJ/CO/PA/MI/IA Residents Only.
Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers -3
Green Bay heads to Pittsburgh hoping to pull off an upset. Unfortunately for the Packers, their defense continues to have issues against the rush.
Also, the Steelers’ defense is playing well. Pittsburgh gets the win and cover.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers -3
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens -6
The Cleveland Browns are good enough to keep this closer than the 6 points. Baltimore has looked great against bad football teams. But the Ravens lost to the Steelers and the Colts.
The Browns have a defense that can contain Lamar Jackson. Deshaun Watson is back and the Browns’ offense looked good in the last. Baltimore may win, but a 3-point victory seems more likely than a 6-point win.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Cleveland Browns +6
Must be 21+ to participate. T&Cs apply. NY/NJ/CO/PA/MI Residents Only.
Houston Texans at Cincinnati Bengals -7
Cincinnati has been rolling. The Bengals’ offense is playing great. The problem Cincy faces in this is containing C.J. Stroud and the Texans’ offense.
Stroud is playing as if this is his fifth season in the league. He was dynamite in the Texans’ win over Tampa Bay in the last. Although the Bengals win, taking the points makes sense.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Houston Texans +7
Detroit Lions -1.5 at L.A. Chargers
The Bolts beat the Jets and now everybody believes they’re back. They aren’t. The Chargers remain a work in progress.
On Sunday, we’ll see exactly how far the Bolts must go to contend with Super Bowl contenders. Detroit is for real. The Lions have lost just 2 games this season. 1 loss was an out of control matchup agianst Baltimore. But the other was in overtime against Seattle. Lions roar.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Detroit Lions -1.5
Must be 21+ to participate. T&Cs apply. NJ Residents Only.
Atlanta Falcons -1.5 at Arizona Cardinals
The Cards are the worst team in football. No matter who plays quarterback for Atlanta, the Falcons should thrive in the desert because Arizona is in full rebuild mode.
Even though Kyler Murray will start, the Cards are still a mess of a football team. Falcons cover.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Atlanta Falcons -1.5
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys -17
Giving up 17 points in an NFL game is almost unheard of. But the Giants are as bad as it gets.
The G-Men must play this game with Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor on IR. When Jones played in NFL Week 1, the Cowboys beat the Giants 40-0. This game is in Dallas. So the Cowboys should be stronger.
Big D may not win by 40, but they should win by at least 20. Cowboys cover.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Dallas Cowboys -17
Must be 21+ to participate. T&Cs apply. IL Residents Only.
Washington Commanders at Seattle Seahawks -6
We can’t believe in the Commanders. A team that unloaded their starting defensive ends and is desperate for the offseason so they can make wholesale changes don’t often beat Pete Carroll coached squads.
For sure, Seattle struggled against the Baltimore Ravens in their last. But before the loss, Seattle had won 5-of-6 with the only loss coming versus Joe Burrow and the Bengals in Cincinnati.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Seattle Seahawks -6
New York Jets -2.5 at Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are different team with Antonio Pierce making decisions instead of Josh McDaniels. Aidan O’Connell, Josh Jacobs, and the rest of the Raiders are fired up to play for Pierce, who was one of the best linebackers in the NFL during his playing days.
The Jets’ defense always keeps them in games. But Zach Wilson didn’t look comfortable against the Chargers and the Raiders D picked it up in NFL Week 9.
NFL Week 10 Pick: Las Vegas Raiders +2.5

Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills -7.5
Buffalo shouldn’t cover this spread. The Bills are 2-2 straight up in their last 4. The 2 losses weren’t great, 24-18 versus the Bengals and 29-25 against the lowly Patriots.
Even the wins, 14-9 against the Giants and 24-18 versus the Buccaneers, didn’t impress. The problem the Bills have is that they face a motivated Denver team that appears to be hitting their stride.
The Broncos have won 2 straight, 19-17 versus Green Bay and 24-9 against the Chiefs. Not only that, but Denver heads to Buffalo after their bye. So we know Russell Wilson and Sean Payton were spending all week figuring out how to beat the Bills D.
Denver’s defense has allowed 19 points, 17 points, and 9 points. The Broncos have come together. Don’t be surprised when Denver wins this straight up.
